Good question is, who do the Jets have for a QB now since Fitzpatrick and his backup are both hurt and they don't have a 3rd QB signed?

Beers = Brees.... autocorrectHelp! "Putty"? "Beers and crew won't wait around long"? Explain please.
2010 Seahawks did just that; W/L record for the season was 7-9 and they won the division over SF who was also 7-9. It was the season W/L record within the division Seahawks got it. They did go on the road for the first playoff game (SEA 41-NO 36); second game was also on the road (Sea 24 - Bears - 35).Lots of times there are division winners with a record of 9-7 or 8-8, but it's very seldom that a division winner is at 7-9. That said, some sort of change needs to happen for who hosts the playoff game during the 1st week of playoffs. Usually a wildcard team with a better record has to go on the road and play a division winner during that first playoff weekend. I get that a division winner should get some sort of advantage, but if your record is worse than the wildcard team you're playing, you should have to go on the road.
I disagree. A division with several good teams will have lower win percentages than a division with crappy competition. Divisional matchups make a huge difference. The NFC South is lucky in that they play the craptastic NFC East and the even more craptastic AFC South. No offense to anyone or their teams but this just isn't either of those division's years. So, right out of the chute, Atlanta has 8 easy games, 6 divisional, and then the 2 teams with an equal standing from last year in the two other NFC divisions.I think any team that wins their division with a sub-0.500 record should forfeit their playoff spot to an additional wild card team (assuming the next team in line for the wild card is above 0.500). Then they should reshuffle divisions to keep it from happening again the next year. At this pace, whoever wins the the AFC south will have a 6-10 record (not that the NFC east is much better).
