There are probably a LOT OF USE that will be doings "mods or improvements" to the ELIO.
Along the way, if it is done at a low cost, functional, and looks good...maybe ELIO will pay attention and include the mods in the production line.
(My opinion)

I think they've set themselves too high a goal. 2-day delivery, now that I can see. But tomorrow morning? There are too many things that can get in the way, from late transport due to highway or weather problems to parts shortages for some of the less frequent options, or for hard-to-install options.
Mind you, I hope these people can run their show on rails with never a hitch or glitch, but I think they'd be better off claiming 2-day deliver and if they get good at that, ramping up to next-day delivery. Just my opinion.
I agree. Two day delivery is more realistic. Suppose someone orders a vehicle at 9:00 PM , assuming the stores stay open that late. This is not much time to get the vehicles modified and on the transports and delivered.

I think part of the reason this subject has exploded is because we have talked about everything before and this is something new.

Not so. I don't recall us discussing the color "yellow" before. Is it supposed to be lemon yellow, egg yolk yellow, sunshine yellow or ? And how do we get our cars with whitewall tires? (I understand they're coming back -- part of the "retro" craze.)

Oh no! Here we go again!

Maybe EM will provide a free pizza if the Elio is not delivered by the next morning.

Yeah! I know! I mean, whitewalls look good on a '57 Buick, but you've got to constantly wash them, like, everyday to keep them from looking like cr*p. Yet, I keep hearing that they're a hot item now in high-end cars.

Maybe we'll just have to take some white paint and paint the other side of the rear wheel.

Hey, even libraries set deadlines, where if you don't return the books by a certain time you have to pay a late fee. In the case of Elio, it might just be that if the order isn't placed by 4:30 PM Central Time, the clock doesn't start ticking until COB (local time) the next day,.

The new trick white walls, the white part is part of the wheel, so you can run low profile tires and they look like regular big sidewall white walls.
I'll go see if I can find a picture after dinner. CHOWTIME!!
