I doubt there is a EV platform that meets his needs.
Are you saying that neither the Ford Lightning nor the Tesla Cyber truck could pull this trailer??

The Ford Lightning has a towing capacity of 10,000 pounds and the Tesla Cyber Truck has a towing capacity of 11,000 pounds. Based on the axles and tires on that solar trailer, it doesn't weigh near that much... maybe 2500 pounds at the most.

I've seen some of these here being used for irrigation pumping on farms

From their website it weights 3,250 lbs.

No didn’t say that. Towing a trailer with an EV pickup is fine………a mobile service EV Tech likely needs something more Van like. I believe Ford has a line of electric vans, but may not offer the range needed to cover a Statewide or regional mobile service area.

The picture clearly shows a pickup, not a van.

There it is... no EV (truck) offers a useful range for doing real work. Real World range towing a trailer with a Tesla Cybertruck is only about 120 miles. The Ford Lightning's range is about 100 miles when towing a trailer.

Thus you need an ICE vehicle that has a useful range to get actual work done with a work truck. Moreover, with an ICE truck you can have dual tanks and/or carry jerry cans of extra fuel to extend that range even further.

A 2024 Ford F-150 3.5L with its standard 36 gallon tank has a range of 648 miles (city) and 828 miles (highway)

AND it can extend that range by being refueled several times using only a few minutes each time!
I've driven cross country pulling a trailer. It was 2,300 miles, and took me 39 hours. I was pushing the weight limit of the trailer & GM truck, so my top speed was only 60 mph. It took me two days (lots of coffee was consumed). I can't even imagine how long it would have taken me if I would have had to stop every 100-120 miles to recharge a battery pack.

And like you said, it only took me a few minutes to re-fuel and get back out on the road.

Here is a lineup of EV pickups that offer useful range as a daily workhorse with fast charge capability.

I usually stop every 250 miles or less. Long range options available up to 450 miles and fast charge in 20 minutes or less. I plug in my EV and monitor the charge on my cell phone app during my coffee or lunch Break. I found that charging takes no longer than when I filled the gas tank, parked, and went in for coffee/lunch and pee break based on my traveling experience.
