You insulted Ty, G1 and now you summarily concluded that everyone here are part of a nerd pack! I think it's high time that G1 creates a totally separate forum for these "legends in their own minds" that does nothing but hear themselves talk! Lol. Next time you post, might as well include all your resumes, titles, accomplishments, etc. -see if we care! Lol.

I'm a little insulted that you find being called a nerd insulting.

But I do concur that not all engineers sit behind desks. In the first two years at his old job, one engineering buddy of mine that worked at a large multi-national spent 18 months traveling to different factories to oversee the installation of equipment he designed to reduce QC losses. That said, I could do with the PE's on my job sites to be behind their desks more and in my work zones less!
