MAACO jobs are known to decay after 5 years, but at just $500, that's 30 years of being repainted before I reach the cost of a good quality paint job. My only concern is how good the initial appearance is.

That is a good concern. The good thing is you have "time" to find out. Time to educate yourself. It would be a good Idea to stop by your local MAACO, from time to time, and see for yourself. Maybe even ask them to "call you" if/when they do a two-tone paint job (probably rare). I just did a Youtube search on "two tone paint" and there are a bunch of vids that could be educational.

LOL, but without an invisibility cloak or camouflage, I think we'll all be standing out quite a bit for the first year or so.

But seriously after seeing one of Silas Sunday's recent creations if I were to do some custom paint I am starting to lean towards a flat black based paint job.
