Let's all just slow down and think a little bit. When was the last time that anyone attempted to stand up a completely new independent automobile manufacturer? I don't have a answer, but I'm sure that it was quite some time ago.

Making plans and predictions as to how to go about such a thing, and how long such a venture might take is, to a great extent, a real "iffy" situation. There are no business models as to how one might go about such an undertaking. To say the least, one must be flexible, and inventive along the way. Things aren't going to go the way anticipated.

The almost universally accepted definition of a Good Military Plan is "A point from which to deviate." And believe me, that's on a good day.

Some of us have put money up front to accompany Mr. Elio and his associates on a very risky quest toward the accomplishment of a dream. He, and we may see success, or, we may not. Where else in today's world can we find such a merry-go-round on which to ride? There aren't many. We knew that there were no gurantees when we put up money, and no one forced us to do so.

Let's just sit back and enjoy the adventure, and hope for a positive outcome for all.

Respect where respect is due. . . . . , none your way!

Oh, AND INCLUDING MYSELF: we are ALL entitled to our own stupid opinions. . . . . . . AND THAT ONE, I do send YOUR WAY.

Thanks.
Hummm, "NO RESPECT"....... because I QUOTED 'your words'. Some people must not even 'respect' themselves? Have a 'nice day'. :-)

Paul Elio has earned my respect and trust along with a reservation deposit. I expect a positive outcome. It seems you referenced my positive respect post to slow down. I'm old and afraid if I go any slower I'll come to a stand still.

All is well so long as you don't make an advance to the rear. As I recall that was referred to as a retrograde movement, but sounded a little better.

I too, ain't so young as I'd like, and I, too move a bit slower, but hopefully still forward.

Be well,

wr

Are you folks working off information I haven't seen?
Last I heard things were looking really, really good for production to start in September 2015.

They said the same in 2009, and 2010, and 2011, and 2012, and 2013....it's getting a little old. Five years of delays and half-arsed excuses is...ridiculous.

You are right! I don't know why YOU would want to spend another minute wasting your time on this forum! All of these ridiculously simple minded people who aren't intelligent enough to listen to YOU. It would "serve them right" if you never posted another comment here.

I have often wondered why you waste so much time on the "ELIO OWNERS" forum when you have said that you have "no money down."

Moderator Comment: Let me clarify something, unlike this deleted comment which is not on topic and instead a personal attack on Snick, Snick's comment was perfectly acceptable as this is a thread dedicated to being disappointed in the Elio vehicle and/or Elio Motors.

At times members may disagree with dissenting and/or contrary opinions however the fact of the matter is that this is an open forum and we welcome all opinions as long as they are presented in an appropriate thread and in a manner respectful of other members. From my point of view as a moderator Snick has been remarkably respectful even when some of our members have not always been so respectful of him.

Please refrain from personal attacks! This is a public forum for discussion so disagreements will occur however please try and stay on topic and defend your opinions without resorting to personal comments about other members.

I am sorry that you did not read it in the "spirit" it was intended. I tend to use a lot of ''sarcastic humor" in my everyday, face to face, conversations. My friends and aquaintances have told me that they "like" my sense of humor. But, I can understand how that can be lost when written and not spoken.

Please accept my apologies.

Apology accepted, much is definitely lost when written online. You did however unwittingly help me make a good point which did need to be mentioned in this thread. :)
