Who or what is the Master Herald? The story is misleading and inaccurate -- disappointing, but definitely not reality. If the ATVM loan guarantee had come through, we would know about it. And there's nothing else large enough in the hopper to get us all the way to production.

I like those, too. I thought about making some for myself when I first got interested in the Elio. The questions that run thru my mind are...if they were extended into a "teardrop" shape (at least 1 foot), would turning the wheels (to the right or left) result in contact with the body? Or would opening the door hit the "wheel pant"? I'll wait to have my Elio in hand to make my decision but pretty sure they won't work. My 2 cents.

More than the shape of the wheel pants I was referring to painting of hawk talons as you see on the Curtis P6E.

According to EM, there are only going to be 26 more Ps, not 30 more.
Maybe I was the only one confused by your post, but 4 of the 30 Ps already exist.

OK, I was discounting P1-P4. I THOUGHT the situation was that there would be 25-30 more cars built, and (officially) all are headed for destructive testing. I'm thinking, that if there are more than P5-25 built, the extra P cars will be used for marketing. Paul does need those suckers out in the world, and I'm sure he knows how important that is. So wrapping five late-version Pcars (actually pre-production, not prototype cars) into that group would make sense from a planning and a funding point of view.
