My motel room is reserved in Pell city. Many motel rooms near Hoover are either booked up or expensive. I was told that Pell City was a safe place and not that far from Birmingham. Got my room at the Comfort Inn Suites on 270 Vaughn Lane Anyone else here going? I'm told that the P4 will be there. Not sure about the P3 yet. Elio has not said where this will be, but it may be at a mall in Hoover. We will have to wait and see.

Hey Charles....

Hope the Elio makes it to Birmingham.... and you do too. I'll most certainly be there, as it will likely be in my backyard. I suspect it will be at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover. But that is just a guess. I'll try to call the mall and ask if they have the tour on their schedule. There are other locations it could be at, including Brookwood Mall and the Outlets at Grand River. I will keep my ear to the ground.

If you make it to Bham and if you have a couple of extra hours, I would suggest visiting the Barber Motorsports Museum. It has the largest collection of motorcycles in the US and perhaps world? It's a mile or so off I-20 near Leeds. It's heaven for bike enthusiasts. They have a large collection of Lotus also. Beautiful museum....

Your motel is fairly new. Should be safe as well. I believe there is a Cracker Barrel next door to your motel. Good breakfast!

IMO, I think the Galleria would be the best location. It's pretty big with good visibility from the upper level to the first. Folks will see it there better than some other locations around here.

Hope to see you!

Art thanks for the comments. I guess we will all be able to recognize Elioites, since we will all be wearing Elio T-Shirts. But then my face is not one that is easily forgotten.

To whom it may concern:
If the P4 is in Birmingham (or anywhere else), please, somebody, take a measurement of the rear end: height, width and ground clearance; and on the odd chance, find out the height of the frame as it crosses the back. You would make a fella so happy. I know it might change, but I'm betting it won't be by much.

What Z says! We were at the Flatirons Mall (Denver metro) when stores opened and still waited 5-10 minutes to sit in the Elio - the mall walkers beat us! 30 minutes later there were easily 50+ people in line, all waiting their turn to sit in it.

We were at the Flatirons crossing as well! We went on Friday, Got there about 12:15 waited about 30-45 minutes. Wasn't really watching the clock. Everyone got a few minutes in the Elio. Sat in front and back. However on the news later that weekend it showed a long line of people waiting. 4-5 times longer than when we were there.

We were at the Flatirons also. Got there Friday around 1:30 and there were at least 50 people in line, but we were only there to find the place so we knew where to go on Saturday. Morning came and we got there before the mall opened and even beat the elio team there by probably 30 minutes so kind of got a sneak preview. Once they set up we were probably in line for no more than 15 and spent a few minutes in the car plus stood in the area and talked to the team.
My advise is get there as early as possible and have all your questions ready.
Have a great time and welcome to the party!

When measuring would you measure the width--outside left fender to outside right fender. I don't think this has been posted here (although wheelbase and tread width has).
