I don't know how you all feel, but I am starting to feel a bit concerned on whether this car is actually ever gonna hit the market.....
'concerned buyer'? I didn't see your production # posted. You are a 'concerned dreamer' - like the rest of us. If you wanted to start up an autocycle/transportation company, for the mass market, with a goal of 250,000 units (minimum) yearly production, how long would it take you? I can wait (knock on wood for the 'ol ticker) until PE says it's ready. I want the Elio to be 'right' - out of the gate (unlike my Ford, my GM, my Chrysler, and my Honda products have been. I hope Elio never suffers from a 'recall' - because they did take thier time, had all their 'ducks in a row' and engineered quality into their product. (I'll step down now)

Honest doubt is appropriate. This is a risky proposition, as almost everybody on this Forum knows. But risky does not mean failure is guaranteed -- any more than success is guaranteed. Paul Elio has done an exceptional job of weathering storms and finding creative solutions to problems. Out of the woods? Definitely not. Are the trees thinning out a bit? Definitely yes.

No one should be called a troll for sharing his or her doubts. Nor should they be disrespected. But when those doubts are dealt with fairly, as the original poster's have been by the very thoughtful posts in this thread -- then THAT starts to look like someone who lurks under bridges for a hobby.

On the lighter, brighter side of things....whose in attendance to see the new P5 at LA Auto Show? I usually go on the last few days so it's not that crowded anymore. 'Got to see the P5 with it's new engine, the exhaust manifold set up, the new color, new and updated interior (I hope), the new dashboard and whatever was added, any modifications done on the suspensions, front and back, etc. Hopefully EM will allow for an engine start just to hear it running! And of course, questions, questions, and more questions.

Welcome, Mr Roman, You would have to be mental to not be concerned, but, you are not alone.
Have faith and we will get through this together.

I noticed your #5236 is close to mine.;)
