At leas this one has 1 mph increments, not 10 mph increments as in the loathsome elgin dash.
Gotta do some serious squinting though, it's located down around your kneecaps and the whole thing is about 4" in diameter. Imagine trying to read it on a rough road - they only kind they had in the "brass era". The "Elgin", considering its size and wasted display space should be similar.

This is very interesting. So what Jerome is saying then, is that the 44,000 reservation number is including fleet reservations. This is new to me and thanks for the information. I have heard on this forum that online reservation will still be taken until the stores open. I guess they are expecting online orders (individuals and fleet) to take up the remaining 125,000 vehicles until the stores open up. Paul Elio is counting on this vehicle really taking off! Is this high stakes gambling?
Yes.

The numbers are so tiny... and that's coming from someone with 20x18 vision!
It's impossible to guage readability until you actually sit behind it. My guess from a functional engineering standpoint it's readable or it has no value. The design of the dash itself is ok, it looks a little retro. I don't look much at the dash beyond an occassional glance.

Agreed; but I see that gauge face as having a lot of wasted space. When I glance at my speedo I go more on needle position over the exact number; kind of like telling time, you can tell what it is by the position of the hands. I would rather have a dash like they have in the P4 over the Elgin. A digital "projected" dash is just that much more to go wrong. A lot of current service repairs with new cars has to do with the electronics.

Does anyone know why the coolant temperature sensor starts blue and then goes red? It's sounds like the narrator kind of asked the question, but I didn't hear an answer.
The question seems to be: Is the oil temperate sensor a multi stage or a single stage. I cannot hear the response also. I am guessing Jerome held up a hand sign of one. It does appear to be a coolant sensor light rather than oil.

Will the manufactured vehicles coming off the assembly line have fully adjustable shocks like this one? These look expensive.
No. Paul said that those were just for testing. The truth is probably more like "We weren't sure how much shock we'd need so we used these adjustable ones."
As far as expense, my Murray 12 speed bike had an adjustable rear shock and that bike was only about $80.

One question that is very important is how are they going to ship them. They would not fit on a rail or auto carrier because the centre of the carrier is used for the loader to strap down. They could ship by flat bed and get maybe four vehicles per trailer. They could buy slings for millions of dollar that would reduce shipping costs but the slings would have to be returned. The last option would be about a hundred custom trailers, this would cost about ten million and they would have to return to Shreveport empty
They said they'd be using a dolly on the rear tire. It would be quite simple, actually... a few pieces of steel tubing and two tires... set the Elio rear end on the dolly and then a single strap to hold the dolly in place on the tire. That'd be enough to get it shipped.
