Are they going to be at the airshow or just in the "area". I do not see Elio listed in the airshow info so just wonderin is all. Hope to sit in it and get a look under the skirt at the rear end. Plan to mount a reciever tube for "stuff" Get a look at ground clearance too, I have a 1/4 mile gravel drive. If it's Mustang high then good to go.

So far they have only announced being at the air show itself. If you enjoy air shows, or don't mind paying to see the Elio, earlier in this thread I posted information about discount tickets which are available for $10 parking and $10 admission. If you decide to go to the air show stay tuned on this thread as we will likely have some ElioOwners.com meet & greet times and several members of the moderating team will also likely be in attendance including myself.

I am not sure where in TN you are located, so this may not be reasonable for you, however the following weekend there is a showing at a mall in Birmingham, AL which is free to attend.

The Elio spec sheet says 5.75 inch ground clearance which they say is the same as a Mustang. From my understanding the P4 sits 1.5 inches lower at 4.25 inches of ground clearance which is actually the ground clearance under my current Honda Civic commuter car so I am not worried as I also live down a long gravel drive.

Thanks Goofyone, I have both on my calendar ,both are about the same drive time. I plan to stay for the airshow and would encourage everyone else to do the same. If you have never seen our Airforce flight team at work , it's well worth the price and then some. I suspect if you are on this forum you would find it enjoyable.

As an ex Rugby and football player I'm interested in the "fit" - even if it's an issue today it won't be by next year as I'm early on in the stages of a "great deflate" but just wondering if an email to elio would push me up the line or better yet maybe get to see the car on Friday the 17th. Any ideas?

Afraid not. We stand in line just like everyone else. However, it does not hurt to wear your Elio t-shirt. You will meet a lot of folk wanting to learn more. The staff, at least in my experience in Portland, were super nice to everyone but they really liked what I did with my t-shirt - I made it into a dress. I made it on their Instagram page. LOL It also made it easy to meet other Elioites including members of the group here because I let them know in advance what I was going to be wearing. I had a great time! :-) Z

Not a chance. It is purely first come, first served. We will get out personal rides next spring when they begin their "ride and drive" program for those with reservations
