would that my kidneys could go that long between stops ..

My guess is that this was the major consideration that allowed them to make the reduced fuel tank size decision. Averaging 70 MPH you can cover 560 miles in 8 hours. I doubt many people care to spend 8+ hours driving without a break so even at 7.2 gallons the Elio fuel tank will still prove to be plenty big enough.

Snipped: Let's hope so because they appear not to have incorporated compliance after the design changes with the P4, which was my original point. The P3 would have done so.

Agreed. I just think the issues will certainly be
addressed in order to comply for Export if &
when that occurs............ :)

It would appear that the rear seat area will be much more comfortable both in terms of ceiling height and in terms of the windows being larger creating a more open feeling.

it looks like the silhouette in the forum logo and on forum T-shirts is good to go ..

Funny thing is that from what we have now been able to gather it is likely a combination of both. The seat will be lowered, resulting in the news of a slightly smaller fuel tank of approximately 7.2 gallons, however the roof line is also changing a bit which does not change the overall vehicle height however does affect how much roof height is available for the back seat.

You can see the difference in AriLea's renderings which are based on EM's rendering which he confirmed to be accurate with EM. The creme colored upper image is the expected production model shape and the orange lower image is the current P4.

I like it.... it looks like the front has been a bit more streamlined too, plus the mirrors, and we might even get a tad more trunk space... the reduction in range is small and wont effect most people. 600+ miles is great for anything...

Appears to have a larger back window and trunk area, both are great improvements without compromising the original look.

If this truly the reason, then please explain why Technosports Creative said last June that they would begin construction of the first E Series vehicle, the end of Aug or the beginning of Sept...... when the engine was still in un-machined pieces. It was Paul Elio, who said on 16 August that the build was on "HOLD", for funding.
