Well, we have one person who has "publicly" waived his legal rights. :loco:
Well, I wouldn't sue HIM personally. Elio Motors, LLC, on the other hand...;)

Note: this is just a joke. I am not one of those litigious persons looking to sue people or companies in frivolous lawsuits.

But have the handle on the inside so you can start the car in the rain without getting too wet.
HELLLLOOOOOO, the windshield should be optional as well... duh.

Official whine: Why can't the Skyz system be a reasonable price? I mean it's 15% the cost of the car! Let's see... $65,000 vehicle has the same capabilities except it wasn't a $9,000 option.

Found this reply from EM when asked about the 100 pre-prod at Facebook today. And I quote "ELIO MOTORS Hello_______, the 100 pre-production vehicles, that were originally going to be used internally only, will be going to some fleet customers to "rack up the miles the quickest and ultimately deliver a high quality Elio as soon as possible". From your experience Ty, aren't those E-series are meant to test all parameters of the ELIO including at least one that's dedicated to "rack up the miles" to test it's durability, etc ????? Keep that one E-series running 24 hours day in and day out and they should know what to adjust or modify. I just don't understand while they have to wait after the e-series are done and test the 100 pre-prod again "just to rack up the miles"! And how long and how many miles is good enough for EM to say, Ok, this is good, now we can move on to actual production!!!! Or worse, ok, it started squeaking and rattling after so many miles so we need to modify this and that!!! Or does ELIO motor trying to buy time until they hear from the ATVM loan??? :D Sorry but you fellas started it!:D

One Caveat, I don't have any experience with testing vehicles other than my own and that's limited to "Yeah, the brakes work." and "The knock is gone."

In my opinion... Elio is going to get all the initial engineering and feedback from the first 23. I mean, Continental isn't going to NOT mention that the wheel fell off or that it won't start. The real purpose of the 100 will be to validate that the assembly line is set up decent enough to start on real production and is a good way to "begin production" should there be a requirement to do so. Plus, it will look good to be able to say the phrase "Started limited production in 2016." Of course, they'll get some feedback from the 100... You may see a spacer here or a change in fastener there but by that time, there won't be any major changes. Rousch is professional enough to have the important stuff ironed out before turning Elio loose.

Further, I think that as Elio builds the 100, they'll get faster quickly and that they'll have in place at least all their eventual line supervisors before that 100th one rolls off the line. By the time it does roll off the line, they'll have enough feedback to make any adjustments prior to real production. Other than a pause after number 100 in order to hire a bunch of personnel to assemble vehicles, I don't think there will be much time before real production starts. I'm talking maybe a month or two just to get enough time to do all the hiring (a process they can't start till they have money to pay people and they can't start too early because people can only wait around so long without a paycheck)

And that, my friend, is my two cents.

GOVERNMENT EDIT: "Sir, that's your 1 1/2 cents... Taxes, you know."
