Obviously the BMW was jealous of the Suzuki's new shoes....

I never even mentioned it! That little Suzuki is a damned showoff; they must have been talking behind my back on the driveway!

Our dogs do this. Or communicate by telepathy more like; the Collie cross always appears within seconds when the Jack Russell has succeeded in getting a scrap of food from me in the other room, or even outside. But I never knew cars could do it.

It snowed last night, then it turned icy. I cleared my driveway this morning. Because it's the Christmas holiday we have had four cars parked outside the house so some car shuffling was required. My BMW, on its brand new tires, was totally undriveable. They aren't winter tires because I couldn't get any in good time and I needed the car back on the road for work after a puncture (run flats don't get repaired so I bought a pair of non run flats for the rear axle). I wasn't too surprised at the lack of traction because despite so called electronic traction aids, the tires are what puts the power down on the road. Without suitable tires, you're stuffed!

However, the little 1.0 litre Suzuki Swift, again on new front tires, but again not winter ones because my recent order got lost (what a saga that attempted online purchase turned out to be), drove extremely well in the snow. We had to go out for some bread and milk and our local village shop hadn't received deliveries due to the snow so we had to go into town for them. The Swift took us there and back, steady as a rock, no problem with traction. If this weather stays, I'll be using it for my 45 mile each way commute to work. The BMW will stay parked up.

I find it interesting that I am seeing advertisements at the top of this website page for three tires. The picture shows 3 tires, just what the Elio uses and no one else.

They are homing in on the Elio for advertisement. Considering, advertising cost money and these companies are "in the know", it looks like they have faith in the Elio coming to market.

No IT expert here, but I think it might have something to do with the 'robots' they have on the forum. I noticed that after I did a search for the artwork Z had for an avatar, the banner at the top of the page was scrolling Tom Perkinson prints. Tracks your browsing habits possibly?
