That’s a good question: ESG Engineering is a ‘privately held entity’ but by many accounts is somewhat akin to a ‘holding company’ with Elio Motors as the operating company in the three wheeler project.

Hari Iyer apparently was formally the liaison between Elio/ESG and the Department of Energy ATVM loan office. Apparently he has some history in attempts to secure that loan: all unsuccessful.

I have a Freedom Of Information Request (FOIA) in at this time to try to discern what the loan status was and what Hari did, or did not do.

Would love to know what logic they used to justify buying any shares at all.

People use to compare Tesla shares to Elio back in the day. Tesla shares has been climbing crazy the last days. Some seemed convinced Elio was the better deal.
I have always wondered if Paul even thinks about or works on the project. I sometimes think we prob. put a lot more thought into it. But never know. He might pop up and surprise us. The Cyber Elio.

Stocks still hanging in there, don't know why. Last thing we heard from them was ..."still grinding away". Usually when a job is referred to as "grinding", it's a negative statement. It indicates that something is still happening but not getting anywhere. Like grinding gears. So after all these years of not having any "progress", you would think they would try changing to a different gear or something. Anything.

I bet it's grinding away. Think about it. Paul has a business that is millions in debt, that debt keeps growing every day. There are looming fines that were in the millions. You have 65K reservations that will make you lose tens of millions of extra dollars. You have no employees. You can't show your face in public as you are worried that a upset reservation holder will see you. Your product is not close to production ready. You obviously have exhausted every avenue for fundraising, more than once. Every day is closer to bankruptcy and that will guarantee that your dream will never happen. Top it off, some local news guy was bugging you over and over again about a $250 refund and you were forced to pay it.
Honestly, this has to be super depressing. The last excitement had to of been the dealings with Patrick Byrne, then he got canned and now is hiding away on some island where he can't get extradited to the US. It's almost like he has to wonder, "Why is it that everything I touch, goes to pot?"
