Either way, another problem right off the bat is covered. It is a matter of if I have 24 mos. or 20 mos. warranty. But of course it will be 24. No "out" either way either.

Interesting..... Refundable, or not, how would one go about getting a refund or otherwise communicate if the Elio Motors website is down. It would also be interesting where that ‘one response’ was: was it the first of many or the last of many?

If one went ‘non’ they ostensibly received a larger discount, of course the final price wasn’t fixed so they could just add that burden on to the final price. But ‘in the end,’ what’s say 10 percent of nothing? Nothing, and that’s what we all got.

Why would anyone choose NON if refundable is available?

A few reasons. I went "all in" at 100 dollars.
Even at 100 dollars, I got my Elio before some rich cat that put 1000 down 'refundable'.
Also, at only 100, I got a T shirt and Elio sticker, which I still have to this day.
I don't believe the 'refundable' ones got either. But could be wrong on that.
And if you went 1000 'All In', you also got a 'spot in line'.
