We are 16-18 months away from getting our cars. There are 2000 members on this site. Say 20 (10%) are very active. Monitoring all of the posts through the feed, responding to posts and questions, starting new threads, etc... 18 months at this intensity level is going to kill me! I can't soak up enough of this information! I monitor at work, I check the feeds when I get home. A couple of times in the evening and weekends. Before I go to bed.

I'm doomed...

evidently we all are with these stats,but I don't see anybody without a smile while enduring the pain

I actually don't like all of them. However, I admit that I do like most of them. What can I say? I'm easy. LOL Z

I also like people and like learning new things. And I like to laugh. I don't consider most of what I read as favorites. I am new to this as of March 4 and the choice was to like or to reply or to ignore. If I really like something someone says or does I don't hesitate to tell them so. Believe it or not I do the same thing in person. If I see someone wearing something I really like, I walk up and tell them so. I meet some very interesting people this way. But then I have also been known to pick up hitch hikers and arrange rides to Portland and back using my car and Craigslist Ride Share option. Another way to meet interesting people. :-) Z

I KNOW right? I thought about therapy but, that would take too much of my time away from this forum! Maybe a support group, like EAA (c'mon,you know what that stands for). Is it even possible to be addicted to something that doesn't yet exist?!?!

If you think it is addicting, and a lot of work, from your end you should see all the sorting, moving, correcting, spam cleaning, and handling of the occasional trouble maker, us admins volunteer to handle every day. I think there must be something very wrong with me for enjoying this as much as I do or maybe I just have too much free time on my hands.

I do know what you are up against. It is also a thankless Job. But, for some reason, I also enjoy it( helping on the smart boards) .

I feel the same way! I've even contemplated how effective it would be to organize "work groups" to travel to Shreveport and help get this thing going faster. I'd be willing to take a weeks vacation if I though it would help. From a pool of over 30,000 reservation holders we could surely get some volunteers. I'm not an auto manufacturing production assembly person but I've worked construction all of my life and I know that it can be very helpful to have folks cleaning up/sweeping floors/mowing the grass...anything to speed up the process. My mind can be a dangerous place...

I'll go for a vacation and work for free if EM will feed and house me. I'm in manufacturing engineering of a heavily regulated field, so I know how to manage complex projects and validate processes.

I thought this WAS therapy?? and I thought this was the support group we all need?? You just have to keep thinking... 33,226 people are thinking and Feeling the same way as you and I do about the Elio...

We have over 2,000 + of them here... we are only short about 31,000 or so members... but these numbers will grow in time...

Yes, We can get addicted to something that doesn't exist... That is why we are at this Support Group meeting???
