Put a pair of Trolley Poles on top of an EV so they can use the overhead power in Metro areas that have them

Modern turbos are part of the whole computer control system. You would just need to have different performance maps programmed in, then switch between the maps. Of course, software can only work within the range that the hardware supports. It's a lot more sophisticated than just a simple manual override.

I fully understand modern turbo systems... I guess I was referring to the primitive system(waste gate vacuum pill size) used by Toyota in 1986(no re-maps available).
