I'm the same way; some people call it "leave well enough alone" but "well enough" is not me; I always have to have things match my personality and my attitude. A vehicle made for the masses is great, but I want one that is fine tuned for me.

Yep. The one issue I have with mass production, is not everyone has the same needs. One size does not fit all.
For example, here in AZ it gets hot REAL hot. So last year I cut above the toes off some of my shoes. Some people think that was weird. A lot of people thought that was cool! Of course for me it was literal. For looks, most people didn't even notice if I chose the sox color right.
Custom mods, that works for me. :-)
