Was killing time doing test drives of various low cost cars today and I think I just changed my color preference depending on what shade of blue is selected for the Elio. The "Candy Blue" on the 2015 Ford Fiesta is gorgeous!

I'm still in team black . The Fender skirts blend in nicely and you simply can't go wrong with black . But the Blue may look good in person....AHHHHGGGGGG

hummmm black and Blue???? Do You see "50 Shades of Grey"" ( I count this as one of my best)
I really like that one too. It's a candy-metallic color, and unfortunately the Elio blue isn't metalized, it's just opaque blue, slightly lighter than an AirForce truck blue. Not very appealing IMHO.

I remember reading somewhere that the colors were molded into the panels and that Elio acquired the body panel material from some other project and that was the reason that the seven colors were it and there would be no yellow.

they have reported having paint booths (seems like 7 of them but don't hold me to that) in the factory so I thought that indicated they would be painted .... it was also reported that it cost more to make yellow paint and that was the reason it wasn't offered as a standard color option
That is simply incorrect.
