The last time I asked about this, in Charlotte, I was told that EM had reached out informally and the response from the casinos had been very positive. We will have to see what exactly plays out when we are closer to production however I have no doubt the local casinos would be very happy to welcome a steady stream of happy new Elio owners.

I wonder how many thrift-conscious Elioites would be big spenders at the tables?

gamblers at the tables = gamblers on the concept of a autocycle n.p. exactly what the casinos are counting on!!!
But, based upon Elio Owners represented here, they'll lose money on the buffet !

I'm not sure who "they" is, or where, but from the Elio Motors support page......

"Who makes the engine/drive train/brakes etc.?

We had a great press conference in May announcing our Blue Chip list of supplier partners. Please go to our suppliers page and check them all out. As far as the engine, IAV has designed a great power plant and we will build it in Shreveport, Louisiana."

We had not seen the above quote and the latest email from elio listed IAV as "engine supplier" which we pointed out to be in error months ago. Thanks for the reference to the May update.
