The Elio Engine

And from the way it looks there will be none anytime soon. Don't even look for an Elio engine before the fall of '15 at the best.
Anyway the idea of using someone else's engine I don't think was ever an option. Their engine price would put Elio's market price out of range of $6800.00.
Elio will never sell for $6800 or will ever get 84MPG unless they go electric and get the weight down.
Face it, the Elio people just aren't smart enough. Sad but true. Dreaming, everyone does it.

Elio is in the GM plant. I've seen them there. Stephanie Lynch can NOT win... She already lost. Elio was allowed to rent the place. She was against that. At best, Elio would fold, the plant would remain unused and Shreveport gets no jobs. That's not a win. What is your ticket for? You weren't very specific. If you mean you'll sell your Elio reservation for $800, nobody will do that because MOST have actually read the agreement and the little place that says it can't be transferred without Elio's permission. (If it COULD be traded, that is a different legal ballgame that isn't being played here.)

The unveiling was to be Feb 6th at the last minute they called it off. Not a word sense. Other than a couple CYA statements backed up with nothing.
Bottom line no engine yet.
