DEF is easy enough to use. It gets me every time I have to put some in though... Here's another expense of diesel engines... Plus, the way that Ford trucks are set up, the DEF usage is basically a guess by the truck. The ONLY way to reset the level that is reported is to completely fill the DEF tank. If you let it get too close to empty, the truck will go into a low power mode. I never let mine get that low and fill it when I can. I know there are a lot of people who say "I'll delete all that emissions crap". I'm not one of them. Those people are intentionally polluting MY air. Anyway, DEF is painless enough and if that's what it takes to make diesels better for the environment, it's a small price to pay.TY-

The BEST thing that's happened to diesels, in my opinion, is the elimination of sulfur... I know it added a cost per gallon that I pay but I'm just glad I don't have to smell that horrible rotten egg smell any more!
