Would that be your experience with new vehicle "startups"? Tell me, which ones where you involved with that succeeded?

So far, Paul has "promised" us nothing but the opportunity to come along for the ride. I have no doubt that an intelligent man like you, read and understood the terms before you laid your money down. EM is under no obligation to give you, or I, anything in return for our support...(if that is what you choose to call it).
You know what I think would be (justifiably) funny? If EM used the deposits from all of the trolls and just kept them. Maybe it would do a little bit to offset the damage done from the many "libelous" statements that have been made.

I am one degree of separation from Bill through four different people, so it's kinda funny to think about him bankrolling this. One of my pals just met with him this morning. We refer to him as the Great One, largely because of his philanthropy and his interest in funding human health concerns. Now that you mention it though, this might be just the kind of thing he would do. Bill and Warren Buffet are buddies - shared views in many ways and both are avid bridge players. If I learned that either of them were investing it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I've always said that EM is an angel investor play instead of a VC play, and these are the kind of guys Paul is surely hustling for his start-up funds. Maybe that's why Paul is really playing up the social good angle. Hadn't thought of that before.
Warren Buffet funded Chinese Electric Car Maker BYD maybe he would have interest in funding a new revolutionary startup USA Car Company...........a Billionaire average guy personality backing the average guy............a win win.

given, that some recent info releases have been puzzling (at best) .... given, some releases have created credibility doubts .... given, some (if not most) releases do not provide as much detail as many would hope .... given, there is much those on the outside looking in don't understand .... given all this, the reality is none of us have sufficient knowledge/facts on which to base the charges being thrown about .... while I do understand the confusion and suspension all I can do is sit back and watch .... time will tell and that time is shrinking rapidly .... right now EM and Paul specifically can't win with several folks on this forum who claim that they strongly want the company succeed but you'd never know if from the tone and charges in the rest of their comments

Al is only an expert in two things making millions off of suckers and living like a king. He himself has a larger carbon footprint than 100s of normal people.

Did you read Smitty's post? I'ts about meeting goals. They have missed nearly EVERY goal. And the goals you list that they HAVE accomplished?
Sell excess equipment. Not done. Vehicle statutes. Not done. Build Engine. Not done. Funding. Not done. Secure plant. Provisional but not done.
No one wants to see this Elio built more than me, however I live in the Real world.

They haven't missed goals. They have missed "projected dates" though.

Another thing to consider is they could have sent these VIP's that couldn't make it a secured link that the event could be viewed in real time and/or watch the recorded event anytime they wished.

The days of everyone going to cooperate events is being replaced with attending virtual.

Some of these VIPs might have expressed that they want to be there in person. Watching something online is not the same as being there. I am also sure if someone put in millions of dollars into Elio they would have the ablitity to get the date changed. It is not really changing anything except the dog and pony show, the testing should still be happening
