Guns on the road, and amendment rights have nothing to do with standard equipment and options for the Elio.
No, I really don't think of carrying a gun as a standard or an option on the Elio; that's a personal choice.
So let's get back on topic please.

They just made changes to the configurator again; let's go there.
Did you know they put a rating system on the colors now?
At first I was going to ask where someone saw that, so I went back in, clicked on the little star in the corner of the color and saw where the rating vote came up. You can vote 1 to 5 stars on all of the colors, including the wraps.

The other thing I saw new was the TPMS & Filler now; you fill the tire and the car beeps and flashes the lights once to show it's at pressure; or you can have it send to a smart phone and adjust the pressure as you want through the app.
Speaking of smart phone apps; the Skyz system no longer specifies iPhone; it now says "any smart phone, watch and something else" which says to me it now supports Android.

Also, the carpet color-picker clarifies the standard option as "No Carpet".

And you can "star" rate the speaker upgrade options as well.

But unfortunately, when they fixed some of the view/scaling issues with the Configurator, they removed the ability to scroll down to see the rest of the wrap and carpet colors. You can see the other carpet colors if you minimize the interior options, but you can't see the rest of the wrap options at all

I came across a head scratching one; I have Licorice as my body color; I go to "Interior" and the base is "Black" by default; but if you click on "Color Coordinated" (for $145) it puts a black panel in the "door area" and the dash.
So if black is the default, and you have a black Elio, wouldn't color coordinated be the same black?
Or is the black default color actually that charcoal black that GM used? The GM color, if you held up a black piece of carpet next to it, you would see how grey the GM black really was.

Besides leaving all of the machinery behind when they closed the plant, is there a chance they left some inventory too? Like bolts of material? (A BIG roll of material is called a bolt for those that didn't know the term)

What does not 'doing it on the road' have to do with avoiding red necks with guns? They're everywhere.

I used to believe that we had the right to own guns. Not so much any more. The 2nd amendment had more to do with forming a national guard than allowing every a$$hat out there to carry a deadly weapon to Target.

I was saying to take the aggression elsewhere. I, in no way, was advocating removing guns. The case near me was one where the Father decided to "teach the other guy a lesson" by repeatedly hitting his brakes in front of the other guy and wouldn't let him exit the freeway. He probably was chuckling to himself thinking "Ha, I got him good." He paid dearly for his aggression. The shooter did too.

I read that the requirements of the wholemeal was that GM basically had to drop everything and walk out. GM didn't form the carpet there though.

I was talking material, not carpet; I used the carpet as a color comparison for the material used on the Elio interior.
