On a Porsche 914 forum (ClubNARP) I'm a member of, they have a section they named "The Sandbox". That's where people post whatever the h*ll they want (rude, crude and socially unacceptable material). Everyone on the forum knows it's there, and why it's there....keeps the whiners at bay.

Check that. I just went there and it is now renamed "Politics and Kitty Litter".

Given the feedback on this thread I won't be moderating based on a single complaint anymore. I'm thinking about requiring complaints by 3 separate people before moderating, do you think this is a fair balance?

Give it a try and see. You can always revisit the issue.

But for perspective, even with only 300 active forum members, your new threshold means 1% can decide what the rest of us see. I'm guessing we have more than 300 active members.

I suggest you make a judgment call based on the image in question. We trust you!

I have no doubt that you have a handle on what's OK and what crosses the invisible line .... I'd recommend that you do what you think is right on the 1st report and every report thereafter .... some may not deserve to wait for 3 complaints

If you can legally wear it outside or something similar can be seen on prime time TV, leave it alone. Nudity, on the other hand... no.

I dono about having a bikini girls thread or anything, but if you have a picture of a car with a bikini model on it, whatever. Do your thing. If that bothers you enough to report it, go ahead and report every grocery store and wal mart in the nation.

Really? C'mon people I haven't seen anything on this site that has been bad at all whoever is reporting these things has to have thicker skin or at least just put them on ignore like Z does. Sorry guys but all this PC stuff really chaps my hide. What's next all the mods are going to have to issue all of us "participation" trophies?!!!

In NY topless is permitted everywhere regardless of gender except where private businesses require shirts be worn by both genders.
