Sounds just like my job in customer service only with likely much better pay
I've never had problems with salespeople myself, but when I dropped in on my mother trying to buy a car the guy was screwing her royally (fiscally I mean)

Lol... once they got ahead of the model year, there was no going back. Ford can't be selling 2014 trucks across the street from GM selling their 2015s! I'd think it would only be a matter of time before someone used them all for false advertising or something. The government would step in and enforce a new law: "To be called a certain year model, a vehicle must have been assembled within that year." Alas, tis not to be.

So, the true answer to my question is it is a "Guy Thing". LOL :-) Z

but it really, really feels like a doomed enterprise. I hate feeling like this, because I would love to have one! What a great way

I spent a lot of time in Shreveport back in the day....but I have not been there since about 1980. Wonder what it's like now?

Welcome Cid, it's definitely a project with its ups and downs, but we all hope it comes to fruition.
