There is an clear 10mm film called "Rock Guard" a friend of mine developed it in the 80's to protect the nose of his Porsche, the stuff really does work

3M paint protection film is de rigueur for the pricey sports cars that show up for track days.

That stuff ought to do it! Wheel spats, lower left and right front panels and the hood and A pillars ... that ought to do it. Wonder what it will cost to treat an Elio?

After taking a look at the way the front wheels are covered, would anything kicked up get past? It looks to me like it already has protection against that.

It looks like the bulge is going to take some serious hits. The P5 has probably not been driven on gravel.

I work near a facility that produces gravel, sand and concrete. The stuff is constantly on the roads here. As such I sometimes see vehicles in our parking lot that got 'a bit close' when following another car. Pock marks on the nose of the car. (yeah nose bra. That's not where I'm going.)

It got me to thinking... Are the 'outriggers' on the Elio going to spray/throw debris up against the sides of the car? Even with flaps I can't see how they wouldn't.

Inquiring minds want to know...

I used it and it protected my truck's front end and part of the hood. I peeled it off after a few months, meant to re-spray it again but didn't...
