Both BMW (CLEVER) and Mercedes Benz (Lifejet) had three wheel tilter concepts that proved to be unstabile and the engineers either couldn't or didn't take the time needed to make it work.

THAT's WEIRD . BMW GOT IT TO WORK GREAT IN THE SKATE BOARDS THEY USED TO SELL .

These were both amazing concepts that would have been a blast to drive because of the tilt factor. Toyota has engineered a stabile tilt on their three wheel i-Road EV concept that will likely make production, but its top speed is 40 mph and designed as a city autocycle.

In videos the Mercedes Benz LifeJet F 300 seems to tilt just fine. The Carver also had the tilt part worked out.

I think the question is more: do people want their vehicles to tilt? I like it, but then I also enjoy riding motorcycles. I am not so sure that the average buyer, that isn’t used to two wheels enjoys the tilt. It also adds a lot of cost and complexity. The Mercedes Benz system was, as one could expect, totally over engineered.

Yes it looked promising but wasn't reliably safe and stabile under all driving conditions.

The Carver's DVC tilt control works and is being used in the new Carver 2. Totally different engineering regarding the tilting mechanism.

Did not know that the F 300 had that problem. I don’t think they ever put any work in it besides making the prototype, so likely that could have been solved in future versions.
