Interesting in that it only managed 44mpg. To me, with a single rear wheel drive, it is a very complex POS.

my guess for that would be that these concepts are little pet projects with no real intention to develop

Both BMW (CLEVER) and Mercedes Benz (Lifejet) had three wheel tilter concepts that proved to be unstabile and the engineers either couldn't or didn't take the time needed to make it work. These were both amazing concepts that would have been a blast to drive because of the tilt factor. Toyota has engineered a stabile tilt on their three wheel i-Road EV concept that will likely make production, but its top speed is 40 mph and designed as a city autocycle.

Exactly!! This is definitely a second generation idea. It would tap a new market for the vehicle. Single parents, aging couples on fixed income, etc.
