That an they can't vote for orange, green, silver or Yellow! I'm sure all colors will be represented with the P6-P30 or will they make the crash test cars white? Once again I'm getting ahead of myself or is that getting ahead of Elio Motors?;)
Yellow has been ruled out on the grounds of cost -- it is by far the most expensive color to make. Orange, silver, and green have already been used in prototypes. Blue, red, white and black are what's left.

"For this thread, one thing I've noticed, lots of input coming from different angles trying to satisfy different goals. What we'd like to own, vs. what looks good in pictures, vs. what looks good on the tour."

Kinda like real politics

How about none of the above (aka other) and do Yellow as a write in?

(Oh oh, just opened that can of worms again)
And just which yellow would you like to see? There are millions and millions of them .... I like any of these three:

Supposedly Elio Motors has already acquired a color pallet, I cant remember from whom... So they already have the exact colors they have the rights to use. There is no wide world of options, we just have not yet seen the exact colors that have been acquired.

They have. They have excluded yellow on the grounds of cost. My point was that saying "I like yellow" is too vague because color is such a slippery thing.

I am a yellow fan myself but like the Imron yellow-green, read somewhere that it tested highest for visibility
Do they still make Imron? I remember when it first came out in the early 70's and it was expensive then, plus it took a whole different technique to spray it. Great paint, but it was really hard to work with.

Just had my boat painted in Mexico with Imron so is still made. Will probably do some yellow Imron for accents on my white Eliot.
