Guys,, The problem is not what time of day or how many days. It's the size of the sample. The smaller the sample the larger the variations will be. Have you ever watched one of those on board MPG computers? The Avg MPG numbers stay very constant, while the instant MPG numbers vary greatly. and as for say,, avg 57.2 per day,, most likely none of the days had 57.2
Go back to just using say ever seven or ten days and the avg numbers will even out.

Unless I'm mistaken, meeting the reservation count is no guarantee of getting the loan. If they slapped a solar panel on the roof and called it a solar hybrid, they would have the loan next day.

Total Reservations are 60,624 with 4,376 to go

On Monday, Oct 10, 2016 there were 4572 to go.

So for Tuesday and Wednesday there were 4,572 - 4,376 = 196 more Reservations.

which works to 196/2 = 98 per day.

ATVM loan is not necessary... reservations matter...but to VC investors!

The ATVM loan is for high mileage alternative vehicle manufacturers. The Elio CONCEPT meets those ATVM DoE requirements. EM needs to verify the claims in the application and provide a driveable proof of concept E whether they slapped a solar roof panel on it or not. Don't blame the DoE, the ball has been in EM's court for some time now. EM is closer than ever to making that happen.

There are also other "departments" that the loan has to go through, Banking, Commerce, etc. If you can being up the original application, Look on the bottom and you will see where the other copies go. (IIRR). Maybe a hang up there?

Now 60851 as of 10/17/2016. Was 60624 on 10/12. That's an increase of 227 in 5 days, for an average of 45.4 reservations per day.

Seems like there's a bit of a slowdown. Maybe people are holding out for the LA Auto show reveal?
