I definitely don't agree with the ugly duckling comparison but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My eyes love the Elio look! :-) ZArticle quote's the Elio as "ugly duckling car".

I suspect what he was actually aluding to, is that EM is a stock that is either risky or not exciting from a profit perspective. But that it would enhance a much more interesting stock that tesla represents. Maybe only because Elio's it's not a publicly listed stock.
