Am I reading this recent google news alert correctly http://masterherald.com/elio-motors...pendent-carmaker-at-gateway-conference/45552/ ? It states that the ATVM loan has been secured. That can't be right, can it?

Well, lets just say, the "reporter" didn't do much research, and leave it at that.

On the day it started, the first comment was:

A day later, someone got the idea to post what the amounts were:

As of Feb. 3, there were 9006 reservations, As of Feb. 19 (16 day period), there were 10046 reservations so there were 1040 reservations in that period averaging 65 people per day. As of Mar. 01 (10 day period), there were 10971 reservations making that 925 reservations and that averages out to 92.5 people per day. And this latest update as of Mar. 09 (8 day period), there were 11,705 reservations making that 734 in that period. The average 91.75 people per day.
And here we are, 291 pages later, Post # 2905 (2,903 later) and the numbers have changed just a little in 2 years
58,766 - 9,006 = 49,760 more in 2 years and 6 months.
Not too shabby

"65,000 to lock in $7300"- doesn't/didn't signing the commitment lock in $7,000, and the 65,001 buyer automatically starts at $7300.00?
