I am hoping ever so much, after seeing and sitting in P5, after this trip to Dallas, I am inspired to be added to the $1,000 all in list.

I do NOT want to be disappointed, but INSPIRED, after this trip. Big ole smiles and all that!

I've never seen a picture of a member sitting in the Elio and NOT have an ear to ear smile on.

"That’s a credit against income tax your tax liability (over the course of the year, not the balance you might owe April 15). If you arranged your affairs so you don’t owe taxes, you won’t get the credit. If you lease a car, the credit goes to the leaseholder, but should be returned in the form of lower monthly payments."[/QUOTE]

It's in fact a tax credit applied on your return, to a maximum of $7.5k
i.e. if after you do your taxes, your tax liability is over $7.5k you subtract 7.5, from your taxes owed. If your tax responsibility is less than 7.5k, you can only take that amount.
For example your taxes for the year are 4k, your credit covers that ( you wind up paying nothing), and their is no rollover/bringing it forward to the next year
I think the credit only applies to the first buyer, and is not attached to a lease.
I could certainly be wrong on both statements, just repeating what two dealers told me.

Number of current reservations: 52,216 as of Apr 18, 2016 - 52,053 = 163/5 = 32.6/day.

32.6 per day is a pretty good jump .... I'd love to see it continue to grow .... doing so brings reservations into the well over a thousand a month category
