Looking at the new-emails, Elio IS starting to refocus back on the reservations. It's now clear that it is one of the financing paths. It's now back to being a big deal.
But, they really need to produce some more compelling reasons to take-up reservations. Physical progress on the P5 or test mules would be one way. Publishing a believable and reliable production schedule would be even better. However, finished P5 and E-25 tests is part of that believability.

We received an abundance of emails this weekend from our reservation holders requesting another day to upgrade their reservations to the $1,000 "All In" level and reserve their official Spot In Line (SIL). We listened and decided to extend the closing time from tonight to Tuesday, September 15 at midnight (EST) for all upgrades to count towards the current SIL email.

You only have a little over 24 hours to be included in the next mailing.

So, to get the next available production number and slot:

1. Make your upgrade today.

2. You must upgrade to the "All In" $1,000 level from the upgrade page (click here) to get your SIL.

Keep in mind, that although the next batch of SIL production numbers will be emailed the end of November, your upgrade time and date for this mailing will save your official spot.

i.e. $100.00 all in +$900.00 gets ya a number, but only $450 incentive

Exactly. if you look at the graph, the highest spike was Aug 2014 when it was announced Sept 1st would end the incentive- which, just as an aside, was followed by its reintroduction just a few months after.
