Have in the past when I'd visit my kids, thinking a pic in front of the bull, and "flying fish" in Pioneer square!!
If they'd allow it how cool a pic in front of Big Bertha. (the tunnel drilling machine, when it works)

You have to know the whole story about the tunnel fiasco in Seattle.
At first they thought they ran into a buried steam engine; then when they backed up to see what it was, they broke the tunnel boring machine.
Had to dig a Monster size hole to get it out. The hole is still there and I heard something that they were actually thinking of opening it for tours of the layers of Seattle Waterfront.
Don't know if it's a true story or not, but it sure sounded like a typical Seattle thought process.
Why not, it only took 30 years to complete the connection from I-90 to I-5 and 45 years to get trains as transit.

without a number update this past Monday (Labor Day) it will be interesting to see how many new registrations when the numbers (hopefully) come out tomorrow .... with the last report showing 45,154, any guesses ???
