I'd really like to reserve a tyke.
No reason to stop the reservations since they aren't ready to produce yet...Stop with the reservations, demand action, give us a finished P5...a sellable P5...stop the madness..!
Finish a damn car...all he is doing is sending your money to his other business. The design business.
I usually put these up right after JNR but couldn't find the thread today. Well, here they are, for what it's worth...
Little trivia - the number of reservations has been pretty steady except for two weeks there where there was a spike in the reservations-per-day. But, the overall average is now at 85.47 per day.
at 19101, to reach 40,000 reservations, they'll need 20,899 more reservations which would take 244 days. At the current rate, of course, it'll take through February 2015. Once there are a few P5s on the road, I'll bet the interest will increase and they'll hit that number this year.

It would really be just a guess but, given that they need to make a big impact, I can almost see them introducing three of the P5's at the same time - Red, White, and Blue... On July 4th somewhere... All American Car in All American Colors!Good evening Ty! Any thoughts as to when, give or take, that we might expect to see a P5?? I realize it would be anyone's guess, but you seem to be following all of this rather closely.
Now that would be spectacular! So, to put it out there - I see no trend in the reservation data that makes for a good introduction point... They've made Green, Silver, Orange... All that's left is Black, Red, White, and Blue. Since they really need to show progress and they need to ramp up interest to drive initial sales, it kind of makes sense to see a trio of them next month.
July 4th, Three P5's, Red, White, and Blue... mark it down!
That may be a rhetorical question but my guess is Washington, DC. Right now the Elio is scheduled to be in Tacoma, WA for that weekend. I would love to think we will have P5s by then because it is due in Portland the next weekend. I would love to send all of you pictures of me and my P5 in Portland. LOL :-) ZNow that would be spectacular! Where is this country's biggest July 4th fireworks display?
