Simple Poll... I didn't include CVTs - consider that choice as an automatic.

I voted Automatic. I enjoy stick, but have to admit this car is for a boring commute with occasional gridlock and the irritation of driving a stick during bumper to bumper traffic far outweighs the fun of the stick at this point in my life.

All my daily driver vehicles in last 15 years have been manuals and I don't see a need to change now.

Do you ever!?! My old job had me inside Rt 128 up to 2-3x a week. You have it far worse than I do if you drive anywhere near 7-9 am or 4-6 pm.

I start at 6AM so usually not bad.. Getting out at 2:30 varies and did get out at 6PM then around 6:30PM when I work 12 hour days.. Yesterday was bad at 2:30PM due to the Plymouth police officer being transported down route 3(died from sort of motorcycle accident) for about 30 miles.. I took Rt. 24 to bypass that mess..

I will get the automatic. I live in NJ and for my safety I prefer to have both of my hands on the wheel when I drive.

I haven't driven manual in 13 years and I still remember that horrible grinding sound - automatic all the way.
