We have a few around this forum that came to this site being negative – and are still negative. They will always be negative. When the Elio is finally in production and hit the road they'll still find things to complain about.

You need people from both sides to learn. Fox will never convert Democrats and CNN will not convert Republicans. Preaching to the choir does not accomplish anything. You do not have to agree with opposing view points, but to dismiss them blindly is foolish. People are negative and positive about Elio for a reason.

The stark reality is...investors and resevation holders have lost lost millions been associated with Elio Motors...

Personally, I don't dismiss anything blindly. I read every word and give the words consideration.

What I have noticed is that occasionally posters come to this site with nothing but negativity. (As with any forum – on any subject.)
I've read their first posts, their middle posts and current posts. It's always negative and snarky. I'm not so sure they even like the concept of the Elio – because they've never said anything positive.

I'm all for being a realist. It's also a good thing for one to be fair.

How is it hyperbole and speculation when yesterday Paul literally had a press conference saying the that the production timeline had started and deliveries would commence in late 2019. No "pending funding" or anything like that, sounded to me like it's s done deal.

As in, the funding is not yet in place. It's the same thing exact thing he's said for years!

If I looked hard enough, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to find the same basic quote, made almost word-for-word by him in 2016.
