Last time in Shreveport he said his major mistake was not going there more often to keep them informed.

Actually that was in May 2017 when he said that. That was the press conference where he blew up at the press. From there he never was back until May of 2018 and that was the last time he spoke. For someone who admitted that it was a major mistake not going there more often, he has created that mistake yet again and expanded upon it. It's been 495 days since he spoke last. That's almost 71 weeks. This is the longest duration, that we've never heard the guy say a word. Now we are just about a week away from a year since the last time Elio had any news (that was the MoU with the Fortune 500 company). If he doesn't speak by October 25th, that'll be 76 weeks.

This is by far the longest stretch with zero news. The only sign of life are recycled blogs, the occasional canned response on FB then the occasional "check the blog" response to an email. As of today, Elio is now at March 3, 2021 for the 76 week timeline. I'm starting to think that even the people in Shreveport have forgotten about Elio Motors. They don't even try to report on it any more.

I had hoped,, well for many things.
On the other hand, for my own part, while seemingly sitting on my hands, I've had time to investigate various technical solutions for issues with Tadpole Autocycles. One was fixing the ground contact at the rear tire when the body rolls in a turn. This issue is much worse when power-traction is also at the rear. My fix uses a mild / limited form of powered tilting.

I think my Atlantric will end up as an EV, at the moment a 24kw battery pack would cost about $7K USD, but at last calc, if using an all composite body/chassis, could give me around 8 hours of driving at 65mph. It will be FWD or possibly AWD drive. For anti roll it will have a transverse-verse leaf spring up front, integrated into the leveling concept. We will see later about ABS and traction control.

Anyway, I've never been waiting on the Elio, just for my adult children/grandkids to get their own lives together.

I understand, no matter how many time I apologize, I'm marked for life. Right now I'm in Tokyo and next week I'll be in Shanghai. In Japan, you can say what you want and people will put up with it but never do business with you. In China it's a system where when SG was upset with me, he would contact the government. Then they would have a talk with me, inform all of my friends of what I did and then reduce my overall score. Second time is to a facility to have a talking to. Third time, I'd be put into a program to educate me in the right way of thinking. If you are a foreigner, then for the first time I'd be met with a few officials, given 5 minutes to pack my stuff and driven to the airport. Then my visa (which you need one to go to China) will be ripped out of my passport and I will be banned from the country for life.

In general, we might need to do it the way in China, because in the end, it fixes the problem as opposed to giving it to someone else. It becomes a self policing way that makes everyone behave.

To make this Elio relevant, when does anyone think Paul will show up and speak in public? It's getting longer and longer where I start to wonder if he's still alive or in good health. I'm wondering if he's OK and can keep the company going.

With this being a Paul Elio speaks and I'm sitting in the Tokyo airport, I got some time.

I noticed that there's not too much left when it comes to Elio Motors on the internet. So, maybe it would be a good idea for the stockholders and reservationists to show a little love for Paul. This would be like a 5 questions for Paul. The owners of this forum and the mods have been longtime supporters. This would be a way for Paul to reach out. it would be just 5 questions and just something about the future and not about the past (as they are sunk costs). It's not a big deal that it's a challenge to get funds but conveying that message works wonders because people assume he got paid some goofball millions (which he did not). I am really bad at internet stuff and getting this to work but it would be an olive branch to get Paul to get out of the dark and gain more confidence. I've been in situations and you feel like you are alone. At this point, a jump start is not a bad thing. We have made our mistakes but we can recover from them.
