Well, I got so excited about celebrating my 32nd anniversary of my 39th birthday (sounds a lot better n' 71) that I installed a Garmin wireless backup cam on my Spyder. It pairs with the Garmin Zumo XT and works pretty well... The mounting bracket was for a full size plate so I had do a little rework, but I think it came out all right...

$27,500 for the bike...
Sweet Trike! The Spyder appears to be a good value @ $27K, It makes me wonder why we thought the marketed $7K Elio was possible. I admit to being attracted by the low price, high mpg, and 5 star safety Marketing strategy. I assume the all new production model BEX will be over $20K, plus dealer prep and shipping, also a good value for a fully enclosed well equipped three wheeler.

Why do you assume a BEX will be over $20K? I don't believe there's been any indication for that amount, has there?

I don’t think any new startup can build a fully appointed, safety featured, vehicle with average performance and handling characteristics for less than $18-20K+, based on following three wheeler concepts for the past 15 years. Only 2 companies that I’m aware of have crossed the production finish line, both over their target pricing estimates. The initial limited number of hand build assembly line production models simply doesn’t allow for profitability until production scale, determined by market demand and available capital kicks in that allows for volume pricing. Also, based on what’s currently available on the market…….none fully enclosed with climate control, or other features we assumed would be in the Elio and would like to see in the BEX.

comments from folks who don't know any more specific info than I do about the BEX carry little to no validity .... in short, the only person who does is Mark .... he has consistently stated the price point he's working toward ..... he will either be right or not .... at this point his numbers are the only ones that that are worth mention .....
