This I like. I'm not sure what all the warnings from the Elgin dash are going to be. I'd be glad to have brake, traction control, and check engine alarms.
Some of those can be moved to the switch that controls them such as the Traction Control; the E Brake, if you can't tell that lever right behind the shifter is down, I don't know if a light would help ;)
And as for the warnings for low oil, or overheat can be added if I'm not able to reuse some of what is already there.

But as always, you can have anything you want <no not at Alice's> for the right budget.

Then you would have RalphNader complaining about rear end collisions...AKA Ford Pinto.

The gas tank would still be in the same place as before, just the filler neck moved. So the likelihood of exploding due to tank rupture in a rear collision should be the same :)

You would think cost-wise it would be about the same, maybe a few cents more for a hinged license plate holder instead of a regular hinged fuel door. But one more "aw, cool!" feature.

They would have to reduce the size of the trunk to accommodate a filler neck between the tire (with the suspension bottomed out) and the floor of the trunk. I'd rather keep as much of that space as possible.

And has anyone else noticed that the rendering in the configurator now has pedals, new steering wheel and a tablet?

There is even a note up top that points out the "New Releases" with a star.

Of course, the only thing "new" is a video for the TPMS info icon.

But the configurator is rendering shadows now, along with the aforementioned pedels and tablet. Do the pedels change with you switch transmissions? Nope. Gas and Brake only, for either transmission option :p

Black carpeting is now standard again, for no cost.

...or maybe not. It says "Standard color", and on first load shows black carpeting. "Standard color" under the Carpeting category tells me that you get carpeting, but just the basic stuff.

If you switch to a custom color, then back to standard color, it switches back to the body colored floor panel. That's confusing. Does it come with carpeting standard, or not?

The popups (for things like InfiniteSkyz and the premium stereo) now render correctly inside the configurator window, no longer being hidden off the top of the window.

...but the configurator itself is too big for the smaller window they use, and it forces a scrollbar that you have to use to view the lower portion of the configurator...
