:-) Just an old joke, I'm a Monty Python fan, it's in Life Of Brian ..

I love Monty Python! Some of the funniest stuff ever created! I was joking because I ride a black Harley, and wear a black helmet, jacket, jeans, and shoes... lol! :D

At least the shoes have white soles, and the Kevlar in my pants is yellow! Though, you can't see it. I have plenty of lights! People definitely see me. Bright lights save lives more than loud pipes! :thumb:

Back on track after losing a couple of days with my passport/visa issues, finally sorted and in the clear now.

Might not look like this tomorrow, as I think I can also do the rear roll cage legs also with only one bend.

Will be a bonus if so, then it just means throwing a cut length of tube into the bender, and getting it within a degree (easy done), and not worrying about accuracy as much was when you have 2 bends, where double the degree variation can happen, as well as the plane being out. So it doesn't take half the time to bend, it takes about a quarter of the time, and plenty of leeway while fitting.

What that also means is any idiot like myself can stand there for a day and make a whole bunch of them rapidly without affecting the quality of final fitment.

For those interested in how I am achieving this, I am using a slightly 'too large' tube at the top of the B pillars, and this is allowing me to kink-fit the smaller roll bar tubes inside it, rather than bending them. KISS :-)

I work in a shop that has tube benders. Was wondering if the rollbars are bent using an inside mandrel?
Also wondering if the roll bars will be free floating or attached to the body.

KISS is the best! The more KISS the better for everyone. Your roll bar solution is great and I can see it shaving hours and some frustration off the first 100. You’re smarter than the average bear, Yogi. Appreciate the update.

….. and glad you got your papers in order. Set an alarm/reminder on your cell phone for 9 years from now. ;)

I just have a hand pump pipe bender, amazing what you can do with it when you know how to use one, but I did kink and ripple a lot of tubes before I learnt.
