The Elio is still a game changer as far as ICE goes. It hasn't gone anywhere as there is a need for both vehicles to satisfy the needs of both market demographics.
Thanks for the EV updates Rickb. A simple test drive makes a big impact on a potential car buyer's decision and the SRK people are doing exactly that, giving everybody the opportunity to try it out! If ELIO had done that w/ just one (1) dedicated for test drive and another for static display on all their tours, they might have been looking at double the reservations if not more! But again, we all know how expensive a single working ELIO is but IMHO only, no risk, no glory! ;)

I agree. The opportunity for Elio ride and drive events may have doubled the reservations and locked in public or private VC investors to fund production by now as well.

I was told to avoid any further mention of EVs. Sorry if I offended Elio Forum members or EV haters, but I personally liked the idea of discussing options, more interesting than the same ole. I have always preferred the Elio. So much for options. Go ICE!

I'll take a break. Thanks.

We have several threads dedicated to Electric vehicles. Post to your heart's content there. ;)
