Did a search on their site for stories and videos on Elio motors. Did another search for the video's exact name and got this little bit of info:

Not sure if that means it's new, but all of them show up as "last modified". So there is a chance that it's new news.

Elio claimed they had everything locked up and signed at the time of asking for deposits..Big delay if they have to move, a video interview, Elio said the factory was all set up ,also claimed GM left the line, paint booths and just about everything needed to start production.. now they have to build all of this, come up with the funds to do it plus the YEARS of set up.. Yep my $$$ is a gonner

Your claims are completely unfounded. They had been taking deposits long before they signed the lease in mid-Jan.
My impression after watching the news segment is that they may have been wanting more than the 1.1Msqft later for expansion. If all the extra space is leased to other companies, it makes better sense to source a facility elsewhere sooner than later. Moving the $2M in purchased GM equipment now will save production downtime later on.

Looks like the video was posted on KTBS web site on 4/9/2014. This is bad news indeed. I thought that Elio had already leased the plant from Caddo Parrish. I think that this would be a good question for everyone to ask in the Have a Question Elio blog.

Except that the footnote there is that Elio only answers what they choose to answer and not necessarily every question asked.
