Right? I mean we're not the crazy ones are we?I enjoyed reading this because if you read over the last two pages you will see where I pretty much pointed out the same things you did. Glad to see others thinking along the same lines.
I know the control algorithms will have to be somewhat sophisticated, but I honestly think it's doable. I just think most modern engineering is overly reliant on digital solutions which are NOT always best. In my opinion this is an application well suited to an analog DE computer, with some added redundancy layers. (such as best 2 of 3 wins strategy.)
