Danny Kim refunded my C-1 reservation deposit 2 years ago. Lit is developing new technology in it's gyro stabilized enclosed cabin 2 wheel MC. They haven't been able to successfully develop a controlled, stabile prototype. The C-1 has far more complicated engineering challenges than the off the shelf parts Elio. Arcimoto's SRK is perhaps more comparable and both companies did startups in about 2007.

Just wanted a update for the self-blancing corner of the world.
There are only one or two types of vehicles currently in the world that justify the cost of self balancing above a novelty.
Basically, unless you have a cabin, and your aerodynamic are better for the inline seating, there is no engineering reason to do it.
But on the other hand, if a model of any-kind gets into the market as a success, it will lower the resistance and cost for a more justifiable product.

BTW, IMHO, It also ain't a finished design when a windshield has no wiper(s)!!

PS, self balancing open vehicles are not safer in a crash than any common two wheel motorcycle. You will still get tossed into the 'nether reaches'.

I'm wondering if I should invest a bunch in Lit or Nimbus. On the other hand just go and buy a brand new FUV. I now have so many choices. I do know that Vanderhall is out of the question as they have been in production since 2016 and sold through dealers which can service them too. I want something that is a dream or can't be serviced. Much better option. Please, take my money!

Just another toy that will never get off the ground.... Notice how the "Invest Now" is the main part of the video. Reminds me of another would be car that was selling a fantasy. I think I'll pass.
I agree. I’ll pass on any new startup concept, until after a test drive, production start, and local sales and servicing dealerships are up and running. The C-1 meets my wants. :)

When Vanderhall comes out with a fully enclosed, climate controlled, preferably higher profile (EZ ingress egress) and visibility (see and be seen) I’ll buy one after a test drive at a local sales and servicIng dealer.
