At first I took this to be the only time Elio Motors would be present at the show. Then I looked and found this time was listed under: Press & Trade Days Schedule / Press Conferences
So apparently it is the time for their new conference for the press. They should be present and displaying for the public the entire show,.

The show is open to the public the 20th through 29th; anything before the 20th is for press and company reps and Executives.
So if they do the entire run, they will have been there almost 2 weeks; that's a long run in one spot for the marketing team.
I know the main topic for them will be all about the P5; just wonder if they could keep track of which question (or questions) are asked most frequently.

I'm thinking the most common question will be: "can I take it out for a ride tonight after the show" or "can I take it for a ride when the show ends?"

Thanks for the info. Coss! It's a plus that the PRESS will be there (Nov 17-19) ahead of general public viewing so I'm hoping to read about their reviews before I can actually see it. I usually go on the last few days so it's not as crowded.

The P5 Reveal Date

On Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. (Pacific Time), we’ll be in the South Hall Atrium at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It’ll be media days at the Los Angeles Auto Show and we’ll be introducing the P5 publicly for the first time to throngs of automotive journalists. In addition, we’ll be rubbing shoulders with leaders in the auto industry at one of the most influential motor shows in the world.

I hope when the P5 is unveiled at the LA show that it is a finished version with all the refinements that it will come with like: The dash, seat, noise reduction insalation, etc. Not just the engene and manual trans. in a plastic shell. Anyone know any more about the version as it will be presented?

There is another thread that covers this; I think it's the "Real P5" or the "P5" thread. No, it's not going to be a "shell" it will be as close to a real production model as they can get. There will be a few things that will be different on the production line ones once they do all of the testing with the E models; that's been the plan the whole time.

Everyone is hoping for the P5 to be as complete as the production vehicle as possible, me included. However, realistically, all it takes is one supplier being late on one required component and you're screwed. Hopefully the P5 is further along than we've seen in the blog pictures and all of the required components are on hand. If not I question the wisdom of advertising the reveal of car that does not yet exist. Remember the engine reveal and the fiasco that was? This would be much worse. The whole world is watching this time.

The P5 is done, has been moved to IAV for fine tuning, and from there shipped to the LA Auto Show.
