I stopped by Bollonger before they moved. Looked at the truck and had a talk with them. They are going after the Farm Market and most likely fleet sales. They have discovered that but lding a pretty vehicle is one thing but commercializing it is another. Hopefully the funding keeps going to get at least to that stage.
Now here is a nice upgrade- https://jalopnik.com/cosworth-says-it-made-a-250-hp-naturally-aspirated-thre-1831041322 Can you imagine a non-turbo, 250HP Elio?
It would probably be quick as all get-out... 3.468 seconds for 0 to 60... according to carspecs.com and assuming you have tires that can handle it and 1,500 lbs weight.
With an 11,000 rpm motor it would sound like a banshee when in the upper revs and actually making power. Coming from a sportbike background that appeals to me and I already wring out my Miata to get power out of it, 4k extra revs on top would be awesome. Not sure if the general public would want to tolerate the high revs, though. But it would be a hoot!
I'm going to guess that in the "financial world",,, it's alot like the "auto parts store world". In December, not much happens. Also, in January. ElioCoin is not going to be very high on the "to do list" in the "financial world". So,,, it's going to be a while.
I would like for the motor to be a Ford Ecoboost, Ford is partnering with EM, we can get our cars serviced at ford dealers, and the Elio was built at one of the closing Ford plants in another state. I do not trust Louisiana and they will try to destroy EM again in the future if they can.
